Ginseng

Good Morning Everyone. I am back on the case this morning. I still have an exam today, and two, next week, but I had to stay in touch with my loyal readers. This morning's topic is ginseng. Ginseng's word derivation is of the Greek origin and when translated, takes on the meaning of the plant that cures all ills. Ginseng is stimulating for physical activities and can be used as a aphrodisiac and is believed to be such, because of the healing properties on the prostate. In women, ginseng is known to produce testosterone; therefore it's use for them is not recommended over long periods of time. Even though not recommended for prolonged use for women, ginseng does have its uses for women: stimulating the brain and memory centers. Ginseng's benefits are found to be cumulative in the body. Meaning taking for several months to a year has a better effect than taking it in short term doses. Before taking this or any other herb, I strongly suggest you consult a physician or an herbalist, because the benefits are numerous and this is one of those herbs that, man would want to take on the regular bases, and women as much as possible.
