Yohimbe

Good Morning everybody. Yohimbe is our herb of interest this morning. The yohimbe tree is a native to Africa. It has become popular due to the reputation it is gaining as a strong aphrodisiac affecting both male and female impotency. A testosterone precursor, Yohimbe is an effective body builder. Yohimbe should never be taken at the same time as foods or substances containing tyramine which is an amino acid. Foods high in tyramine include liver, cheese, and red wine as should certain diet aids and decongestants. NOTE: This herb should be avoided if there is high blood pressure or hearth arrhythmia.
