Slow Food Please

Good Morning. Today's topic is fast food. I know that this a sensitive area because of the day and times that we are living in. With the hustle and bustle of life every convience that's available to us is a welcome asset. The quicker the better. But when it comes to our health I think we should step back, take a look and evaluate our situation. It has been said that fast food is some of the most nutritionally deficient food on the planet. While not supplying our bodies with any nutrition, it has also been designed to increase our appetites and make us physically addicted. It has also been reported that the more you eat at fast food restaurants the more likely you are to develop certain diseases like cancer, heart disease, diabetes, obesity and a host of other diseases. The point I'm trying to make in saying all of this is, we should keep ourselves conscious of what we're putting in our bodies so that our bodies will be of maximum benefit to us. I know it's hard to get away from the fast food life, but the better we take care of ourselves, the less likely we are to become sick and ailing with long term diseases that will probably worry us to death. Let's try and eat as healthy as possible. Sure this requires a little knowledge, but the long term benefits are worth it. So in your quest for good health today, do me and yourself a favor. Do a good deed, and remember GOD willing, a good deed replaces a bad one, and on the day of resurrection we're going to need every good deed that we wished we had of done. Have a great day!!
